Josh graduated from the prestigious Radio Television and Film program at the University of Texas in Austin. Josh’s experience working at Paradigm, Adam Fields Productions, and Jonathan Sanger’s Grand Illusions formed a broad knowledge of the industry. In 2009, Danziger got the idea for APART, and formed a production company with Ryan Rettig to bring the challenging story to the screen which premiered at the 2011 SXSW and Cannes Film Festivals. Josh then formed systemX media with Ryan Rettig to develop and produce studio level feature film, television and new media content on an independent scale. SystemX media's current slate includes the con / thriller feature film PLAY THE DEVIL and the UNTITLED URBAN SQUASH documentary which follows 7 urban teenagers around the country as they compete for Ivy League Scholarships. While developing the docu-series THE RECRUIT, Josh has cultivated strong ties with high level college football recruiters, high school football coaches and independent camps. Josh resides in Beverly Hills with his girlfriend Rebecca Yerkovich and their dog, Major Black-and-White.
Ryan has spent the last decade working in the media and entertainment space. From 2000 to 2006 he worked in multiple facets of the film industry including international sales, finance, development, production and post production. From 2007-2009 Mr. Rettig became an ad executive with Havas subsidiary EURO RSCG, where he managed over $100 million annually in campaign creative and media buys before returning to the film world in 2009 to produce the Gravitas/WB released feature film APART with Josh Danziger when they cofounded SystemX media. Ryan's producing projects include After the Fall with Wes Bentley and Jason Isaacs Terrence Malick’s highly anticipated natural history documentary Voyage of Time with Cate Blanchett and Brad Pitt, the 2015 Sundance selection Last Days in the Desert starring Ewan McGregor, and others. Ryan holds active advisory board positions in the tech & entertainment space at companies that include Blown Away, TUGG, and ForemostEdition.com.
